The owner of Ouka Landscape & Design (Ash) was born in Japan and came to Canada at a young age.
He studied at Kwantlen polytechnic University for Red Seal program. After that, he decided to go back, he decided to go back to Japan to train in Kyoto. He also worked at the heritage temples and gained many experiences as a landscape designer.
After his training, he came back to Canada and he thought it was necessary to work at a Western company to blend in and bond with the Canadian society. Also to familiarize and gain knowledge about materials for construction in BC.
Therefore, he worked for a few well-known landscaping companies through large scale construction in BC.

My master said the garden is a part of life and grows with the family.
Also, with learning from nature as the motto, we build gardens while making use of what we have learned in Canada and Japan with the philosophy of being “living with nature”…
